Our clergy staff consists of minsters and elders who implement the work of the Lord on public and private platforms. Whether you’re seeking prayer, counsel or exaltation, this ministry will meet your needs.

Men’s Ministry

Men’s Ministry: The purpose of the brotherhood is to establish and maintain a Christian fellowship of men. Our brotherhood consists of men who take responsibility to hold each other accountable spiritually and emotionally for leadership and service to their family, relationships, church and community. Our brotherhood enjoys each other’s company and works together to achieve common goals. It is comprised of fathers, brothers, husbands, sons, and friends from all walks of life who bring an incredible wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise to achieve amazing things for Greater Refuge Church and the community.

Women’s Ministry

Whether you are a mother, daughter, sister, wife or friend, Greater Refuge Church recognizes the significant role women have in kingdom ministry. Emphasis is placed on spiritual strength, healthy communication, and healthy relationships with others. We empower, include and welcome the demonstration of the many gifts and talents every woman brings to ministry.

Music, Media and Arts

The Greater Refuge Church Music Media and Arts Ministry is one of our most active ministries and is focused on meeting the needs of our congregation through music, singing, dance, drama and social media outlets. We are passionate about Christian worship through the arts and hold in high regard the value and impact it has in our church culture and life experience. We are an energetic and creative ministry and offer a variety of worship styles that appeal to the masses.

Youth and Young Adults Ministry

Greater Refuge Church considers our youth in all aspects of our events and services. In the midst of an uncertain and sometimes chaotic world, during the adolescent years, we teach our youth how to walk faithfully before God as they grow, transitioning from children to young adults. This ministry bridges education, connection, formation and transformation. We encourage our youth to establish a solid relationship with Christ early in their life with hopes that they build and increase their knowledge of God. We recognize youth gifts and talents in ministry and utilize them to their full potential. This ministry inspires, affirms and equips youth for long term Christian living. Your child can learn more about God at our Children’s Church, which breaks out during our adult service on Sunday mornings.

Usher’s Ministry

The Ushers Ministry is dedicated to help usher God’s people into the building as well as maintain an atmosphere of reverence and order before, during and after the service with a “ready to-serve” attitude. Our ushers include both youth and adult representatives.

Golden Guild Ministry

The Golden Guild of GRC is a ministry dedicated to meeting the needs of our seniors. Many of our programs meet the spiritual, physical, emotional and social needs in church and the community. Greater Refuge invests in the well-being of our seniors because we believe it is the prayers of our most senior members who have spiritually sustained the success of our ministry.

Deacon Board

Our deacons make up some of the strongest pillars in our organization. We strive to meet the ever growing needs of the church and its attendant ministries. The deacons of Greater Refuge operate in the spirit of excellence to help one another see how God is at work in our lives so that we can worship him by helping to care for our members with sympathy, witness and service. They sustain a family environment through communication, guidance, support and care. The deacon board consists of a variety of age levels from our teenage junior deacons (in training) to our senior level; deacon emeritus. Our goal is to provide an active channel of communication that addresses the needs and concerns at all levels as appropriate.

Missionaries

We believe all are called to the service of God and our fellow man! Our missionaries are taught how to best help the poor and to care for the sick and to work for the unconverted. Our missionaries are personally concerned for the spiritual and emotional health of mankind. The missionaries of GRC not only teach biblical principles but live them out every day. This ministry serves with joy and impacts our local assembly in servitude through preparation of our monthly communion, partnership with other auxiliaries for special events and fellowship. Our missionaries encourage all members and non-members regardless of their background to come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through healthy living and biblical teachings.
